The Generation Spark team is pleased to announce that for the first time, Generation Spark’s Mentoring 101 is being offered as a stand-alone learning experience.

Previously available only as part of our larger church cohort journey, this course has helped congregations develop a shared vision for intergenerational mentoring, reciprocal relationships and church culture change. Because churches found these conversations so valuable, we’re excited to offer this foundational experience on its own.

Whether you’re considering future participation in a cohort or simply want to begin exploring how mentoring can transform your church, Mentoring 101 offers a meaningful starting point. Bring a team, engage in rich conversation, and discover how God may be inviting your congregation into deeper relationships across generations.

What is Mentoring 101?

A four-session learning journey (utilizing Zoom) for churches discerning God’s call  to cultivate meaningful mentoring relationships across generations.

Young adults are returning to conversations about faith—but many churches are asking:

How do we become the kind of community where they can truly belong, grow, and lead?

Rather than offering another ministry program,Generation Spark invites churches into a process of discernment, adaptive leadership, and relationship-building that strengthens the whole body of Christ.

Interested in taking the first step with us?

Together we will encounter:

  • Adaptive leadership around intergenerational connection utilizing mentoring relationships
  • The power of mentoring relationships in discipleship.
  • One guiding question:

What is God up to as God invites your church into the creation of intergenerational mentoring relationships?
